Yellowstone National Park, Part I

Yellowstone lives up to the hype. So many disparate features — the mountains, the lake, the gorge, the wildlife, the geothermal features —, and each one is spectacular.

I'd say Yellowstone has the most wonder-per-acre of any place I've ever been. It is, however, pretty dense with people, too. We had roughly twenty-four hours there, so we just hit the highlights with the rest of the masses.

This post is just the drive in and the campground, i.e., none of the main attractions yet... and still... wow.
