Bizarrely warm, red pool with crust of salt (I think?) on top. The ground around it was deceptively soft and I sunk it almost to me knee on one leg.

Grimes Point Petroglyphs near Fallon, Nevada
Petroglyphs on the short trail near the picnic area. These are interesting and easy to access, but the real highlights are at the "Hidden Cave" area, about a mile or so further down a gravel road.
